Education Requirements:

• PhD in physics, mathematics, material sciences, electrical engineering or a related natural or technical science

• Master's/Diploma in natural sciences (e.g. Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics) or related field

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in informatics, mathematics, physics or engineering science

• currently enrolled in university scientific studies in aerospace/electrical engineering, computer science, or a comparable field

• advanced studies in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Data Sciences, or comparable programs

Experience Requirements:

• practical research experience (at least 3 years) in (Cyber) Security, e.g. through a doctorate or other demonstrable research activities

• experience in machine learning

• Experience with Front-End development

• 3D-Finite Element Modeling and Multiphysics Simulation

• extensive experience in programming a common language (Python, MATLAB, C/C++, etc.)

• good expertise in object-oriented software development with C++ and Python

• previous contact with machine-learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, Tensorflow, Caffe, …)

• good knowledge in creating 3D assets with Blender

• basic programming skills in Python, C++ or C#

• Initial practical experience developing applications in VR/AR environments

• Knowledge in software engineering

• Experience with Typescript or REST API

• Basic knowledge of modern cryptography, preferably with initial exposure to homomorphic encryption

• Good programming skills in languages such as Python and JavaScript

• Interest in cryptographic issues and working in security-critical areas

• Teamwork skills, independent working style, and commitment

• Fluent in German and English (spoken and written)

• very good Python skills (LangChain, Ollama, embeddings, Chroma, …)

• understanding of general aviation technology and flight operations

• knowledge and experience in the area of machine learning

• knowledge and experience in software engineering (e.g., Git, Unit Tests)

• travel readiness

• willingness for security check (if necessary)

Responsibilities:

• Development of new ML-models for pose estimation

• Evaluation of the robustness and reliability of ML-models

• Development and optimization of front-end components for managing data spaces

• Integration of interfaces for seamless data integration and presentation

• Development and implementation of user-centered UX/UI designs for data spaces
