Experience Requirements:
A minimum of 3 years as a Software Engineering Manager or equivalent experience leading high performing engineering teams
Demonstrated success leading teams through change, ambiguity, or scale-ups within a global organisation
Previous experience building and maintaining complex products
Technical depth to support engineers and collaborate effectively with tech leads and architects
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong ability to build trust across all levels
Other Requirements:
Experience in Healthcare domain and in product development companies, building SaMD (Software as a Medical device) and/or SiMD (Software in a Medical Device)
Basic technical exposure to AI and associated technologies ( TensorFlow, Pytorch)
Broad technology background with exposure in Python; Node.js/Typescript, Docker, Cloud technologies
Experience with medical imaging and associated technologies (e.g. DICOM, FHIR, HL7)
Experience in a start-up or scale-up environment

Experience Requirements:
High level understanding of software architecture, network protocols (eg: HTTP), microservices and cloud technologies)
Proficient in one of the following languages: Typescript, Python or Rust
Experience in the use of Cypress, Selenium or similar test automation platform
Experience working within a software development team, communicating with engineers, and use of tooling for bug tracking and source control
Other Requirements:
Experience working a regulated environment; eg: Australia TGA regulations for software as a medical device
Responsibilities:
Author and review test strategy and risks for software products
Form, document and prioritise test and verification plans
Assist with automation of tests
Execute on tests, using a combination of manual and automated methods
Record results, seek root cause of discovered issues, and provide feedback to developers on non compliance and reproduction steps
