Experience Requirements:

• 3+ years in Customer Success or Support at a SaaS company, including mentoring or team lead experience.

• Proven onboarding and training skills for customer accounts.

• K-12 background (teacher or admin) or edtech experience.

• Helpdesk/chat experience and CRM experience.

• Startup or bootstrap experience building processes from scratch.

Other Requirements:

• Excellent written and verbal English.

• High technical proficiency with web apps, spreadsheets, and CRMs.

• US-based and able to work eastern US school hours.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and work the queue: coach one support rep and spend daily time in chat and email, meeting SLAs and handling escalations.

• Own onboarding for new school and district Premium accounts: kickoff, success plans, training, first value.

• Drive adoption and renewals: monitor health, run proactive check-ins, partner with Sales on retention.

• Implement rosters and integrations (Google, Clever/ClassLink) and light data imports.

• Create training: live sessions and simple guides or short videos for teachers and admins.

Experience Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience as an SDR or BDR, ideally in EdTech or SaaS

• Experience working with K–12 decision-makers (principals, curriculum directors, etc.)

Other Requirements:

• Demonstrates clear and effective verbal and written communication skills

• Comfortable making cold calls and speaking on Zoom; you build trust quickly

• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize in a startup environment

• Proficiency with modern sales tools (e.g., CRM platforms, Zoom, email automation, LinkedIn)

• A growth mindset and genuine excitement about education

• Passion for literacy, reading, or education more broadly

Responsibilities:

• Own and manage a pipeline of inbound and outbound leads

• Conduct high-quality discovery calls and product overviews via phone and Zoom

• Qualify leads and schedule demos for Account Executives

• Work closely with Sales Leadership to optimize outreach strategies and conversion rates

• Use CRM tools and automation platforms to manage your day efficiently
