Autonomous Vehicle Operator

Experience Requirements:
5+ years of safe and professional driving experience
Other Requirements:
Familiarity with Linux; ideally you have experience working with PCs
Basic understanding of electro-mechanics is highly preferred; basic understanding of wiring systems
Strong problem-solving, analytical, organizational and verbal/written communication skills
Self-motivated, goal oriented and able to work in a fast paced environment
Ability and willingness to travel
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record with no gaps in drivers license for 5 years
Must currently reside in the San Francisco Bay Area
Ability to pass a drug screen
Able to work evenings and/or weekends when necessary
CDL is a plus
Responsibilities:
Be available and comfortable to drive 80% of working hours (25% of this will be driving at night).
Navigate urban areas as well as highway driving.
Support test activities including vehicle preparation, driving the autonomous vehicle, tear-down and data collection.
Perform support and testing while monitoring and validating data.
Conduct hardware troubleshooting for electro-mechanical functions.
