Responsibilities:

• Ensure that robotic systems operate successfully in customer use cases via teleoperation with a focus on data gathering and data generation.

• Run robotic systems continuously throughout the day, identifying bugs and technical issues and generating collected data for ongoing improvements.

• Operate teleoperation equipment as needed to guide the robot through specific behaviors.

• Follow proper equipment and robot maintenance procedures, including setup and operation.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a technical field.

Experience Requirements:

• 3+ years of working experience in a technical role interfacing with technical and non-technical folks.

Responsibilities:

• Build, deploy, and maintain Python automation scripts and other tools to streamline the data annotation process, automate repetitive tasks, and reduce manual effort.

• Identify bottlenecks in the data labeling pipeline and implement solutions to enhance throughput, accuracy, and scalability of labeling operations.

• Work closely with the Project Management team to ensure that data labeling meets accuracy standards and troubleshoot any issues related to data quality.

• Plan quality assurance workflows to use GenAI and open-source models to find data anomalies.

• Set up monitoring tools to track the performance of data annotation operations, reporting key metrics and areas for improvement to leadership.

Experience Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience working on product-focused software engineering teams.

• 5+ years of experience with Laravel, PHP, React, and JavaScript

• Experience with Docker for local development

• Experience implementing and managing multiple 3rd-party RESTful APIs

Other Requirements:

• You are able to travel 4-6 times per year - this team is remote, but we try and get together often

• You enjoy and prefer working remote, and have developed routines and set up a work space that makes this productive and comfortable for you
