Jordi Torres is a Full Professor of Computer Architecture at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) and a Senior Researcher and Expert Advisor on HPC & AI at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC). With over 35 years of experience, he trains engineers in high-performance computing and artificial intelligence. He has authored or co-authored over 200 scientific publications and several books, including 'Supercomputing for Artificial Intelligence'. His work focuses on the intersection of supercomputing and AI, contributing significantly to modern science and serving as an expert advisor to BSC's leadership.
