Ai Kenya is a fast-growing Artificial Intelligence community in East Africa, formed in 2017, with over 2500 members including machine learning and data science practitioners, business leaders, government officials, learners, and enthusiasts. The organization aims to democratize machine intelligence across East Africa through a multi-sectoral approach. This involves bringing together tech and non-tech stakeholders from various sectors (government, civil society, private) to dialogue and provide sustainable AI-driven solutions to local and regional problems. Ai Kenya also focuses on growing AI in the region by fostering knowledge sharing and addressing challenges among practitioners and enthusiasts in Machine Learning and Data Science through training, learning paths, and project showcases. Their core values include continuous learning, sharing knowledge and projects, and fostering collaboration within the AI ecosystem.
