FAQs
What is counted as a seat?
Any teammate you added in your Fireflies workspace would be counted as a seat. If you are on paid plan then you would be charged on per seat basis. Teammates are invited from team invite panel. You can share individual meeting recap links with participants or other users without adding them in your team free of charge.
What are my monthly transcription credits?
Pro & Business tier users have access to meeting & audio file transcription. There are no rate limits for using the meeting bot or chrome extension on a monthly basis. There are rate limits for using certain features to transcribe like the API, Dialers, and bulk file uploads. Learn more about those rate limits here [link].
What languages do you support for transcription?
Currently English is the primarily language that is supported. We also support Spanish, French, Portuguese, Italian, and 69+ other languages in beta. [link]
Can I sign up any other way without using my calendar?
Today sign in is only possible via Google Auth or Outlook Auth. This allows us to simplify the sign up process for users while ensuring high levels of security & password protection. Contact us for info on SSO.
Do you have any volume discounts?

What’s the difference between the Free tier & Premium Tiers?
The Pro & Business tier come with more transcription credits along with advanced exporting capabilities. You also get access to App & CRM integrations on the premium tiers. Starting on the Pro tier, you can send audio through the Zapier integration to get transcribed. The business tier gets API access, analytics, private channels, video recording, and other advanced team features.
How secure is Fireflies?
We encrypt your data at rest, including emails, calendar events and other personal identifiable metadata. We use a 256-bit AES encryption in storage and 256-bit SSL/TLS encryption in transit. Our database is hosted in a virtual private cloud. All of our systems are built with privacy and security as the top priority. We adhere to the highest standards of regulatory requirements, demonstrated by our compliance with SOC 2 and GDPR as well as other regular security audits.
Can I customize the Fireflies Notetaker bot name?

Experience Requirements:
3-5 years of experience in performance marketing with an emphasis on paid search and Google Ads.
Proven experience managing large budgets in a consumer SaaS and subscription-based product environment (e.g., Netflix, Grammarly, VPN tools).
