Responsibilities:

• Review and verify the loan against supporting documentation to ensure file is meeting agency and client overlays

• Analyze loan risk and request additional information through conditions and third-party ordering as needed

• Check loan eligibility decisions and the correctness of approving or rejecting applications

• Verify, add, delete, or waive conditions as applicable in Encompass based on each pipeline/broker

• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, company policies, and guideline

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field (or relevant professional certificate(s))

Experience Requirements:

• 3+ years of relevant software engineering experience (using Python)

• Excellent Python programming skills

• A passion for building robust and reliable technology

• A deep understanding of computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, databases, etc.)

• Knowledge of at least one Python web framework (such as Django, Flask, etc)

Responsibilities:

• Design, build and roll out solutions that will optimize complex automation workflows

• Integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic

• Ensure code implements security best practices and data protection protocols

• Understand and efficiently manipulate large datasets and have a strong understanding of data structures and algorithms
