Experience Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a backend engineer, with strong focus on Python

• Solid experience building production-grade Python services

• Experience designing and operating scalable, distributed systems in cloud environments (AWS preferred)

• Hands-on knowledge of async processing, concurrency, and event-driven architectures

• Experience working with real-time data flows and service-to-service APIs

Responsibilities:

• Build and evolve Python backend services for real-time transcription

• Design and maintain low-latency systems that process, enrich, and route live audio and transcription data

• Work with multiple connection methods, from browser clients to professional broadcast protocols

• Own services end to end, from design to production

• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve delivery speed and code quality

Education Requirements:

• Relevant security certification required (CISSP, CCSP, CISM, GIAC, or equivalent)

Experience Requirements:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, security engineering, or security architecture

• Strong background in cloud security, SaaS security, and application security

• Experience operating security tooling such as CSPM, ASPM, EDR, and SIEM platforms

• Hands-on experience with detection engineering and incident investigation

Responsibilities:

• Own and improve Verbit’s cloud security posture (CSPM, IAM, hardening)

• Lead SaaS posture management and application onboarding reviews

• Drive AppSec programs, including CI/CD security gating and code reviews

• Plan and manage penetration testing and DAST

• Own Verbit’s SIEM, including detection engineering and investigations

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of cloud enterprise software sales experience

• Experience in complex SaaS sales model

• Proven track record of closing new business and exceeding quotas

• Experience presenting to C-level and executive-level decision-makers

• AI and/or Education SaaS experience is a plus
