Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or related discipline

Experience Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in finance, business strategy, or a related function

• Experience manipulating data sets and working with system and analytics tools to turn them into insightful business recommendations

• Experience in applicable accounting concepts and financial planning

Other Requirements:

• Must be fluent in English

• Fluency in Microsoft and Google Office suite (Excel, sheets etc) as well as key accounting (Xero) and business software tools (Hubspot)

Responsibilities:

• Oversee financial reporting, including consolidation of month-end, quarterly, and year-end closing across subsidiaries at group level, and ensure timely submission of financial statements for the group and entities following statutory reporting, tax compliance, and financing requirements

• Handle year-end audit matters, accounting issues, tax filings, and preparation of financial statements to ensure compliance with relevant statutory requirements and accounting standards

• Manage the management reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes, including preparing financial reports and analysis on business performance to management

• Build and lead operational finance processes for AR, AP, and invoicing functions

• Participate in accounting and finance processes improvement projects and explore ways to leverage technology to enhance end-to-end financial management Develop, implement, and maintain accounting and finance SOPs for the Group Support Board Meeting deliverables and liaise with the corporate secretary Support treasury, cash flow forecasting, and banking arrangements and related controls and processes to achieve a strong cashflow control environment Liaise with external parties, including external and internal auditors, tax agents, tax authorities, and other professional parties Ensure adherence to the international group’s accounting policies, financial controls, governance and risk management framework, and operating policies

Experience Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in sales, business or a related function

• Proven track record of successfully reaching and exceeding sales revenue goals through consultative selling

• Fluency in Microsoft and Google Office suite (Excel, sheets etc) and business software tools (Hubspot).

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the sales processes (lead generation, prospecting, inbound, RFP’s etc.) to drive new business in Malaysia.

• Close new direct customers end to end to reach and exceed sales quotas while contributing to overall team goals.

• Accurately and effectively manage the sales pipeline in order to prioritize business opportunities and resources.

• CRM Management: Regularly updating and maintaining accurate records of all prospect interactions in the company’s CRM system.

• Create and deliver consultative sales presentations using industry knowledge, market trends, and UIB’s software solutions. Develop and actively manage short and long term account plans based on customer goals and needs. Develop and broaden high-level collaborative relationships, including understanding and identifying contacts that manage multiple budgets, and close large deals with up to 40 major customers. Collaboration: Works smoothly with all stakeholders across the organization to ensure a smooth sales process and customer onboarding experience. Serve as an industry thought leader in AI in order to drive vertical and client success leveraging UIB’s ongoing product and technology developments. Is able to understand and identify potential software partners as an opportunity to scale revenue beyond direct sales.
