Which plan is right for me?
Our Free plan is designed for a quick test. Starter is built for developers to quickly start building with the Tavus product and APIs. Growth is for developers and teams that need higher limits, are starting to scale, and need additional features. Enterprise is for teams seeking partnership level support, volume discounts, full white labeling, and security. Talk to our sales team to learn more.
What is a Personal Replica?
A personal replica is a custom AI replica of you or your users. It’s a digital twin. Personal replicas include professional cloning and a custom voice model.
Can I make a Personal Replica on the Free plan?
No. The Free plan is designed to help developers quickly test our APIs. You can test Video Generation and launch a conversation with our Stock Replicas. If you'd like to create a Personal Replica (a digital twin) or allow your users to create one you'll need to sign up for our Starter plan.
How are Personal Replicas billed?
Replicas incur a one time charge upon generation. We never charge a recurring fee for Replicas. Starter and Growth plans include a set amount of free one time credits to generate personal replicas. These credits do not reset every month, and are to help you get started fast. If you aren't happy with your replica for some reason, please contact us. We’re happy to help!
How do the limits for Personal Replicas work?
The number of new replicas you can train (create) on a monthly basis. This resets at the start of every billing cycle.
How do concurrent conversation limits work?
The maximum amount of conversations you can have ongoing at any given time. For a higher limit than offered on self-serve plans, chat with sales.
How does pay-as-you-go usage-based pricing work?
Tavus plans include an access fee, as well as usage based components. All plans include 3 minutes of video generation and 3 minutes of conversation for free each billing cycle. Additional usage is paid at the stated rate.
How do I upgrade to a pay as you go plan?
Navigate to your billing page within the Tavus developer portal, and easily select the desired plan.
How does charging per minute work with Video Generation?
A Video Generation request is rounded up to the nearest ~6 second increment. For example, if your video output is 1:05, you will be billed for 1.1 minutes.
How does billing for Conversational Video work?
Conversations are billed by the minute, and rounded to the nearest 6 second increment. Each conversation will always include the base real time stream. You can then customize your experience with plug and play modules to best fit your specific use case. These modules are billed per minute in addition to the base streaming rate: Vision: Enables the replica to “see”, and brings visual context into the conversation. LLM: Create personas and conversations with LLM optimized for latency and intelligence. BYO is no charge. TTS: Generate natural, high quality audio with TTS optimized for latency and scale. BYO is no charge. Recording and transcripts: Capture conversations. Available on Growth & Enterprise. Premium conversational replicas: optimized for natural conversations are available to enterprise users.
What does white-labeled product mean?
Tavus provides fully white-labeled APIs which can be embedded into your product seamlessly, without Tavus branding. The exception is a required consent script a user must read which mentions Tavus. Enterprise users are also able to white-label the consent passage.
What is included in Enterprise support?
All plans include standard email support. Enterprise users have access to a private, dedicated Slack channel. We host kick off meeting, and provide build support with API implementation, prompt engineering, integrations, customizations, UX/UI reviews, and more. We're your internal AI video team- and that means we’re building together.
Where can I see my current usage and invoices?
Usage is displayed in the bottom left hand corner of your portal. Alternatively, navigate to your billing portal within the Tavus portal.
