Do you plan to create new features?
Yes, we are constantly developing new features. Currently, we are working on AI Captions that are created on your device without internet connection.
Can I record System Audio?
Yes
Can I try the app before purchase?
Certainly! You can trial all app features for free. We only ask for your payment details before video rendering. You can cancel your subscription at any time
Can I record mobile apps?

Can I record Voice Over or Selfie?
Absolutely! You can record your screen, webcam, and microphone. You can even use an iPhone or any other camera/microphone as an external device. System audio, such as from YouTube videos, is also recorded in high quality.
Will it record Citrix-walled screens?
Absolutely! Our Mac screen recording app is designed to be compatible with multiple displays.
Does recording work in any application?
Yes, the browser, or a separate app, or the entire screen - with a buzz
What is the timeline for the easy license switch between devices?
This feature will be available within 1-2 months.
How do I activate Screen Story on another device?
Please write to us at team@screenstory.io, we will reset the activation of your license
Is there a Google Chrome extension?
Unfortunately, no. Our app uses deep system settings and records the screen and cursor on separate layers, which isn't supported by Chrome extensions.
Is the Windows version ready?
We're working on the Windows version. Leave your email to be the first to know when it's available. Currently, only macOS is supported.
Does it work on a macOS virtual machine?
We haven’t tested it and generally don’t recommend it.
Will it be available for Ubuntu?
Not at the moment. We're tracking user requests and would appreciate your input if you'd like to help in the development of this version.
Is there any plan to add an AI voiceover?
We are working on this.
Does it allow importing and video editing?
Not yet. Camera movements and a smooth cursor require a special approach to recording the screen and cursor.
