Marsel is an AI-powered Shopify app that helps increase AOV, lower CPAs, and increase ROAS by engaging shoppers with AI-powered promotions. It offers personalized product recommendations based on user behavior, bestsellers, similar products, recently viewed items, and trending products. Features include product page promotions, checkout extensions (Shopify Plus only), post-purchase promotions, manual recommendations, API access for customization, and an analytics dashboard. There are two pricing plans: Standard ($14.99/month) and Premium ($69.99/month), with varying features included. The app is compatible with Shopify OS 2.0 themes; however, API access enables integration with other themes.

How does Marsel auto-recommend products?
Marsel uses millions of data points, including order data, customer data, and product data to find the best possible recommendations for higher conversions and AOV.
Will I need a developer to add Marsel to my store?
No! Marsel is fully compatible with Shopify OS 2.0 themes at its core, so all it takes to install the app is just one click. You can add widgets to your pages from the Theme Editor.
Can I manually select products to be recommended?
Yes! Marsel allows you to add manual recommendations for products and collections. This feature is available under both pricing plans.
Can I exclude specific products from being recommended?
Yes. You can use our Exclusions widget to highlight the products you don't wish to feature in promotions, offers, or generated suggestions. To access this widget, navigate from Marsel Settings > Advanced Settings > Exclude Products from Recommendations.
Is the Marsel app widget compatible with all Shopify themes?
Our app widget currently supports only Shopify 2.0 themes. However, you can use Marsel’s API to build custom widgets that seamlessly integrate with any Shopify theme of your preference.
Does Marsel support checkout extensions?
Yes. Checkout extensions are a part of our latest release. Please note that checkout promotions are currently only available for Shopify Plus stores.
Does Marsel integrate with other Shopify apps?
Marsel can currently be integrated with Stamped product reviews. We're working on additional integrations and will be releasing new updates soon!
