What is the expiration date on paid packages?
LALAL.AI packages don't have expiration dates. Minutes are used for splitting; once used, you need a new package.
What does the “number of minutes in a pack” mean?
Each package has a minute limit for audio/video splitting. File length is deducted from this limit.
How are the minutes deducted from my account?
Minutes are deducted using this formula: Total file length x number of stem separation types. For example, a 5-minute file with 3 separation types uses 15 minutes.
Where can I see the number of remaining minutes?
Remaining minutes are shown at the top right of the LALAL.AI main page (logged in) and on the previews page after file upload.
How can I add more minutes to my account?
Add minutes by hovering over the minute display, clicking "Upgrade," selecting paid options on the pricing page, or on the previews page. Also, get free minutes through the referral program.
What is the activation key and where can I find it?
The activation key, unique to premium users, is in your profile (logged in) and purchase email. It activates your package on multiple devices/browsers, in the desktop app, and for API use.
How do I improve the stem-splitting quality?
Improve quality by using high-quality input files (higher bitrate, lossless formats), using the preview option, utilizing advanced features (Enhanced Processing, De-Echo), and changing the neural network.
How do I remove echo and reverb?
LALAL.AI's de-echo feature uses advanced algorithms to remove echo and reverb. Enable "De-echo vocals/voice" in settings, select a stem, and upload.
How does Enhanced Processing work?
Enhanced Processing works with LALAL.AI's networks to precisely identify sounds. "Clear Cut" minimizes cross-bleeding; "Deep Extraction" captures more detail but may increase overlap.
How does Noise Canceling Level work?
Noise Canceling Level offers Mild (no processing), Normal (soft compression), and Aggressive (strong compression) noise reduction. Select Voice and Noise stem, then choose a level in settings.
In what format will I receive the results?
Results are usually in the same format as the input file. Premium users can choose the output format (MP3, OGG, AAC, AIFF, WAV, FLAC for audio; original format or selected audio format for video).
How do I sign up/sign in?
Click "Log In" (top right), then register or log in via email, Google, or Facebook. Email login requires a verification code (expires in 10 minutes) or an authorization link (valid for 24 hours).
How do I split a full track?
After uploading and previewing, sign up (as a new user) to split and download. Select Starter, Lite, or Plus, then click "Process the Entire File". Starter allows preview but no download; Lite/Plus require payment.
Is it a recurring payment?
This is a recurring payment. You'll be billed regularly on the same day as your initial payment (monthly or annually).
What are the Fast and Relaxed splitting modes?
Subscribers can use Relaxed (queue-based) or Fast (immediate) splitting modes. Fast has a minute limit; Relaxed does not. You cannot switch modes; Fast is used first each month until the limit is reached.
