Education Requirements:

• B.S., M.S. with 5+ years of relevant experience or PhD with 2+ years of relevant experience

Experience Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience and a strong portfolio of design work

• Proven track record of success in a senior design position (preferably in a fast-paced startup environment)

• Experience leading complex, user-centered design projects from start to finish

• Thorough understanding of best practices for user interface design, information architecture, and interaction design

Other Requirements:

• Fluent in Python, TEnsorFlow, Keras, PyTorch

• Experience with real-time data processing (video, audio, and other signals)

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for research, development, and deployment of real-world medical AI solutions

• Participate in planning, designing, and implementing aspects of our ML pipeline.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Kaliber’s Head of Design to develop and execute designs for a wide range of med tech projects with a variety of users (including patients, surgeons, and hospital staff).

• Own user research, and integrate insights into product design.

• Collaborate across Kaliber teams (especially product and engineering) to ensure successful execution of design concepts.

• Develop basic visual designs for not only products, but also marketing materials (including web and pitch decks).

• Support development and execution of a visual style guide.

Experience Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience managing diverse IT projects

• Well versed in agile methodologies

• CSM certification desired

• Coordinate with product, data, AI/ML, software, hardware, clinical research, SQA, regulatory compliance, and other business units to effectively manage multiple global projects

• Lead technical and business teams through agile processes and help streamline workflows and build consistency amongst different teams based on individual needs

• Develop and maintain agile best practices, dashboards, and tools

• Onboard and coach new teams through scrum processes

• Partner with technical leadership to develop and prioritize the agile growth roadmap for the organization and lead prioritized workstreams
