Experience Requirements:

• Experience working in an environment with a distributed microservices architecture

• Experience working with modern relational databases like MySQL or Postgres

• Excellent software engineering skills in at least one programming language like Python, PHP, Ruby, Go, .NET etc.

• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms and architectural patterns (experience with Google Cloud Platform is a plus)

• Experience building and maintaining Kubernetes clusters using managed services like GKE or EKS, Excellent communication skills, Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Bitbucket pipelines, ArgoCD, and/or Github, Strong conceptual understanding of networking and the OSI model, Ability to contribute in different technical domains as needed to achieve business goals.

Responsibilities:

• Implement technical solutions that will help Chargezoom achieve our immediate goals while maintaining optionality for future business requirements,

• Automate infrastructure provisioning across our cloud footprint using Terragrunt and Terraform,

• Build, maintain, and support our Kubernetes infrastructure,

• Implement CI/CD pipelines to optimize developer workflows and shorten time to delivery,

• Collaborate with engineering teams to build systems that allow them to rapidly deploy new services, iterate on new features, and monitor system reliability, Optimize performance, reliability, and cost of our infrastructure footprint, Support existing infrastructure while building out new capabilities.

Education Requirements:

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Experience Requirements:

• 6+ years of software engineering experience.

• Proven track record of designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale, high-performance web applications and RESTful APIs.

• Excellent software engineering skills in at least one programming language like Python, PHP, Ruby, Go, .NET etc.

• Deep understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and best practices in software development.

• Strong experience with database design, optimization, and performance tuning in MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other relational databases.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reliable, and efficient software, primarily using PHP.

• Thoughtfully implement the next phase of our system, ensuring best practices in coding standards, security, and scalability.

• Conduct code reviews and contribute to the growth of the engineering team's skills and knowledge.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code to ensure performance and stability of applications.

• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, and evaluate their applicability to our tech stack and business needs.
