Education Requirements:

• Minimum Doctoral degree or in the last year of the Doctoral degree in Mathematics/Statistics, Computer Science, Physics or Electrical Engineering.

Other Requirements:

• Demonstrable capacity to produce high quality peer reviewed research.

• Familiar with Linux infrastructure and python (C++ familiarity would be beneficial).

• Preferably some knowledge of financial market mechanics.

• Approachable attitude to joint work and peer review and ability to present complex ideas in a concise manner.

Experience Requirements:

• Experience as a software engineer either via work experience, side-project, open source etc.

• Experience with C++ and one scripting language, preferably Python.

Other Requirements:

• Ability to develop and optimize high-performance C++ code for low latency computation.

• Low level deep understanding and ability to look under the hood (assembly, libraries, memory model) to develop concise understanding of the workings.

• Strong awareness of best practices, code standards, building processes, test driven programming and code reviews.

• Interest in data structures and algorithm designs.

• Strong familiarity with Linux infrastructure.

• Approachable attitude to joint work and peer review and ability to present complex ideas in a concise manner.

• Staying up to date with emerging trends and technologies in the field of trading and financial markets

Education Requirements:

• Demonstrable interest in technology/computer science.

Experience Requirements:

• Good knowledge of security best practices.

• Knowledge of scripting languages (python,bash).

• Good familiarity with Linux administration and command line utilities.

• Experience with continuous integration.

• Familiarity with AWS is a plus.

Other Requirements:

• Experience with FIX and knowledge of financial instruments is advantageous.
