How does the free trial work?
As a new member, you get 15 minutes of free credit to try ScriptMe. Upload three 5-min files or one 15-min file. There's no cost, and we guarantee you'll love it!
How long does it take to transcribe a file?
Our transcription engine is faster than real time. So one hour of audio/video should be ready in less than 25 minutes. It may take longer if the audio quality is poor.
Is my video file private & secure?
Yes, your privacy is our duty, so we follow the best security practices for data storage. All your data is protected by a well-known cloud provider. Private server/cloud solutions are also available.
How does ScriptMe PRO subscription work?
With ScriptMe PRO, you get all functions plus 3 monthly hours. Buy more hours if needed. Cancel anytime via preferences/Billing and plans. Enterprise accounts are required for teams and projects.
How accurate are the transcriptions?
Given that we offer an automated system, we can't promise 100% correctness, but we are close with good audio quality. Our easy-to-use editing page helps you quickly correct any mistakes.
Is my credit card information secured?
Your credit card info is collected on a secure HTTPS web page using SSL. We use PCI-DSS compliant processing firms. We never store your credit card number or security code (CVV code).
Can I buy extra credit if i have ScriptMe PRO?
You get 3 hours of credit every month with ScriptMe PRO. You can always purchase more credits if you use up those 3 hours.
Do I keep my unused hours in ScriptMe PRO?
With ScriptMe PRO, you get 3 monthly hours of credit. Unused credit carries over as long as your subscription is active. If you cancel, saved credits disappear at the end of the period.
Is there a notice period when I subscribe to ScriptMe PRO?
No, you can cancel anytime.
