About
PREMIERE (PREdictive Modelling with QuantIfication of UncERtainty for MultiphasE Systems) is a £6.5M EPSRC-funded programme focused on significant advancements in physics, machine learning, and uncertainty quantification. Its goal is to develop ultra-fast predictive models and address a wide spectrum of challenges in multiphase flow research globally. The program aims to create unprecedented impact in sectors like healthcare, energy, and manufacturing, leading to economic growth. It will provide novel and more efficient manufacturing processes, reliable design tools for the oil-and-gas industry (improving safety and reducing emissions), and enabling technology for next-generation nuclear reactors and patient-specific therapies. PREMIERE also invests in future leaders through training and secondments, emphasizing technology transfer, research dissemination, and societal engagement.
