Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s Degree preferred) in the field of Computer Science, Mathematics, or in a related field

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum of ten (10) years of software development experience, with at least six (6) years of that being with complex software systems

• 6+ years experience with architecting complex, high-scale web applications and data solutions

• 5+ years experience with medical device software development with focus on cybersecurity and information security implementation.

• 8+ years experience with at least two of the following programming languages: ReactJS, Node.JS, Nest.JS, Python, Rust and C++

• 6+ years experience with cloud computing such as AWS, Azure, etc.6+ years experience with AWS services such as Kafka, EC2, S3, MSK, ECR, EKS6+ years experience with database design and implementation10+ years experience with agile software development principles and practices5+ years experience test automation using test frameworks such as Selenium, Cucumber, etc.5+ years experience with CI/CD utilizing containerized deployment tools such as Dockers and Kubernetes.3+ years experience with machine learning and working with data scientists to build applications that make use of the power of machine learning and AI

Responsibilities:

• Design, build and maintain backend and frontend web-based software applications

• Work with Manager of India Engineering on software architecture and design

• Strive for high quality outcomes, continuously look for ways to improve team productivity and product reliability, performance, and security

• Work with both backend and frontend technologies such as

• Automate unit and integration tests within a CI/CD pipelinePartner with other engineering teams to deliver best solutionsEnsures software standards are metEnsure that the feature(s) work across multiple releases of the softwareWork within the Pictor Labs organization to ensure consistent, high-quality deliveriesDevelop architecture, design and code based on the specificationsPrepare software verification plans and quality assurance proceduresContinually strive for increased efficiency, maintainability, and qualityIntegrate software components into a fully functional software systemBuild and Support – embrace the DevOps mentality to build, deploy and support applications in the cloud with minimal help from other teamsWork with software and product management teams to translate requirements into design.
