Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)

Experience Requirements:

• Proven experience in automated software testing

• Expertise with test automation tools, Object-oriented programming and scripting languages (i.e. Typescript, Python, C#, etc.)

• Proficiency with at least one performance test tool/framework (i.e. Jmeter, Locust, etc.)

• Understanding of the different types of performance testing and when/how to apply them

• Strong understanding of software development methodologies and the software development life cycle (SDLC)

Other Requirements:

• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Azure Devops, JIRA, TestRail)

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision

• Experience building solutions in Azure, GCP and/or AWS a plus

• Previous experience with performance testing tools a plus

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on software requirements and user stories

• Provide guidance to clients about test design, both functional and non-functional, which will provide them the highest possible ROI

• Lead small teams of test engineering consultants on technical implementation and delivery

• Implement functional and performance testing based on client necessity and system/architecture understanding

• Build and execute automated tests to identify defects and issues in software applications

• Extensive experience with automation technologies, such as robotic process automation (RPA), intelligent process automation (IPA), and workflow automation

• Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Java, or VB.NET, with the ability to develop and customize automation workflows and scripts

• Define and design automation solutions, considering factors such as scalability, reliability, security, and integration with existing systems

• Provide expert advice and guidance on automation best practices, technologies, and tools, tailored to meet the specific needs and objectives of each client

• Implement solutions accurately according to design documents and technical direction

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, IT teams, and developers, to implement automation projects effectively

• Conduct testing and quality assurance of automation solutions, identifying and addressing any issues or bugs to ensure smooth performance

• Support the monitoring and evaluation of implemented automation projects, collecting data and metrics to assess the impact on business outcomes
