Doesn't using a smartphone to measure the amount of work that people do reduce the number of man-hours required?
Not only does it reduce the work of visually measuring meters, but it also reduces the amount of work involved in a series of inspection tasks, such as the effort of entering values into Excel.
Should I connect the meter itself to the Internet or replace it with a smart meter?
In factories with many old meters, or special meters attached to dedicated devices, switching to smart meters may require large-scale capital investment or have installation environment issues.
Can I read meters other than analog meters?
Yes. In addition to circular needle analog meters and square analog meters, it also supports digital meters that display numbers, rotary meters, water meters, and, currently in beta, horizontal scale manometers.

With hakaru.ai, we are sequentially developing and adding types of meters that can be read by AI, so meters that have a smaller amount of learning than the standard value for other meters are marked as beta versions.
Does it support all meters? Are there any restrictions such as manufacturer or model?
There are no restrictions on manufacturer or model.
Can I measure 2-needle or 3-needle type meters with one meter?
Yes. If you select the number you want to read and save from the values displayed on the smartphone screen, the value and image will be saved in the web ledger. Multiple values cannot be saved at the same time.
Can I measure a type of meter in which the width of the memory changes from fine units to large units with one meter?
Yes, it can be read. Select "Analog/Round (Custom Settings)" during initial setup and register the meter image and reference points.
Can I read characters such as multipliers and product numbers listed on the watt-hour meter?
Not supported.
How does image recognition work when measuring a swaying needle?
Analyzes the value of the needle at the time of shooting.
The minimum value, maximum value, memory interval, unit, etc. differ depending on the meter, but how is image recognition done?
Some can be read by AI, and others are specified when registering meter information in the web ledger.
What is the number of digits supported by the rotary meter?
