Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science
Experience Requirements:
5+ years in an engineering lead capacity
5+ years designing and operating highly available multi-tenant services
2+ years of relevant experience working with Go or similar systems languages
Other Requirements:
Strong knowledge of databases in the context of highly scalable web services, preferably PostgreSQL
Strong understanding of Networking concepts (like TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL, etc)
Experience with Linux, containers, Docker and Kubernetes
Familiarity with best practices for securing cloud based services
Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Responsibilities:
Leveraging your own and the team’s skills to be a force multiplier while building and scaling our backend services
Technical owner and point of contact for the backend team
