How do I start using Alice?
Alice offers a free 60-minute trial. You can use the iOS app for mobile recording or the web application for browser-based recording or uploading existing files.
What languages does Alice support?
Alice transcribes many languages including English (multiple accents), Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Hindi, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Ukrainian, and Vietnamese. It does not translate between languages.
How much does Alice cost?
Alice uses a pay-as-you-go model. Costs range from 3-8 cents per minute depending on the package, with bulk purchases available for teams. There are no subscriptions.
What happens if my recording is interrupted?
Recordings are saved locally on your device and the transcript is delivered via email. If the recording is interrupted, all completed parts are preserved. If you don't receive the transcript, you can export recordings to re-upload and get transcription.
How does Alice protect my recordings?
Alice uses multiple protection layers: local storage on your iPhone, backup and recovery options, and email delivery. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
Where can I find my transcripts?
Transcripts are delivered via email and available in the web app and iOS app, and can be synchronized with Google Drive (if enabled). They are available in DOCX, RTF, TXT, PDF, and directly in your email via the web interface.
