How are the goal and initiative limits in the free plan calculated?
You can create 5 goals and up to 50 initiatives across all teams in the free plan. These do not include archived goals or initiatives.
How is the pricing per user calculated?
Pricing is per user. When a member is added, you're charged a prorated amount for the remaining billing cycle. Charges are processed monthly. Removing a member frees up their seat.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards. For annual subscriptions, we can issue an invoice payable by bank transfer. Monthly purchases must be paid for by credit card.
Does North offer a discount for nonprofits?
North supports eligible nonprofits and academic institutions with an 80% discount on all annual plans. Apply at hello@thenorth.io with official documentation.
Does North have an Early-stage startup program?
Yes, startups under two years old, with less than $1m ARR, and 10 or fewer employees can get an 80% discount for up to 1 year on the best plan. Apply at hello@thenorth.io.
Does North offer training on how to use the product?
For business plan users with annual commitment, North offers a personalized demo and free onboarding assistance. For other plans, North partners with coaches for paid OKR training.

Do you have a truly free forever plan?
Our free plan introduces outcome-based thinking. As an early-stage startup, pricing may be updated. It's designed for exploration before commitment.
