Education Requirements:
Diploma or degree in accounting
Equivalent combo of training and experience
Progress toward CPA designation is preferred
Experience Requirements:
2-3 years of progressive accounting experience
Experience with IFRS and consolidation
Prior hands-on experience with payroll processing
Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online
Proficiency in MS Excel
Other Requirements:
Legally able and currently documented to work full time hours in Canada
Fluent or professional communication skills in English
Exceptional organizational and decision-making skills
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Responsibilities:
Perform full-cycle bookkeeping using QuickBooks Online
Manage accounts payable and receivable functions
Perform bank, credit card, and intercompany reconciliations
Process payroll and remittances
Prepare, submit, and reconcile statutory filings
