Ideon Technologies uses cosmic-ray muon tomography to create 3D density maps of underground areas. Their REVEAL™ platform helps mining companies identify, map, and monitor mineral deposits, reducing exploration risks and costs. The technology is used in exploration, resource assessment, geotechnical analysis, and monitoring block cave mining operations. The company is a spin-off from TRIUMF, Canada’s national particle physics lab, and has received several awards for its innovation.
