Stenography is a smart codebase documenter combining AI & code parsing. It offers automatic documentation for entire codebases every time you hit save, with an Autopilot feature. It provides a powerful API to pass code and receive explanations in plain English, with customization options. The tool also hydrates responses with Stack Overflow Suggestions and linked documentation, eliminating the need for extensive Googling. Stenography is privacy-first, using a passthrough API and not storing code on its servers. Users get 250 free monthly invocations.
