Rowy is a low-code backend platform that allows users to manage their database directly within a familiar spreadsheet-UI. It's powered by your existing database and supports over 30 field types. Rowy enables users to write backend logic and build powerful cloud functions scalably without leaving their browser, handling all the boilerplate work. It supports automations like Derivative fields, Action fields, Extensions (SendGrid, Slack, WhatsApp), and Webhooks (Typeform, SendGrid). Rowy is open source and empowers entire teams to collaborate on a single source of truth with granular access controls, auditing, field validation, default values, and required fields. It integrates with various frameworks and no-code app builders, allowing for flexible development.

Where is my data stored?
The data created and managed on Rowy is stored on your own Firebase/Firestore database on Google Cloud Platform. This means you have complete ownership of your data and Rowy does not store it anywhere. Your data and code stay on your own Google Cloud project.
What would be the cloud cost of using Rowy?
Rowy is connected to your own Firebase/GCP project and is 100% serverless, meaning no ongoing server cost on GCP. Costs are incurred on your GCP project based on Firestore, cloud functions, and cloud run usage. GCP’s free tier is quite generous.
