About
QTrees is a project focused on developing an AI-supported prediction system to identify urban trees at risk of drought. It includes a public app (Baumblick) for citizens to view tree conditions and an expert dashboard for administrators to optimize irrigation. Developed by a consortium including Technologiestiftung Berlin and Birds on Mars, it was part of the German Adaptation Strategy to Climate Change (DAS) and funded by the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection.
