Lead Engineer - Drone Design and Build

Education Requirements:
MEng or equivalent degree (nice to have)
Experience Requirements:
Expert-level proficiency in at least one MCAD package (e.g. NX, SolidWorks, Fusion 360)
Strong mechanical engineering background with design for manufacture knowledge
Experience leading or owning end-to-end hardware systems
Experience defining or scaling engineering processes from prototype to operation
Python (or similar) capability for data analysis
Other Requirements:
PCB design or EMC design experience
Background in robotics, autonomous systems, or complex electromechanical products
Experience supporting the transition from R&D into production
Responsibilities:
Owning the mechanical and electrical architecture of the drone platform
Leading transition from prototype to repeatable low-volume production
Guiding design and integration of sensors, electronics, structures, and networking
Translating operational feedback into technical priorities and design improvements
Defining and overseeing hardware testing programmes
