What is a how-to video project?
A video project is one How-to video generated in multiple languages (number of languages as per the plan). Each video can be downloaded individually in mp4 file format or can be shared together using a WowTo video player.
What is a video knowledge base? Why do I need one?
A video knowledge base is a collection of video tutorials or How-to videos for your product hosted on your website. It is a go-to resource for all your users to address their queries related to your product.
What is the WowTo In-app video widget?
The WowTo in-app video widget is a widget that can be embedded on your website or inside your app to display relevant content to your users to help them through their product exploration journey. You can also configure videos to be displayed only when the user performs a certain action.
I already use a chat service on my website. I do not want to have two icons displayed on my website, but I still want to try the widget.
You can integrate the WowTo knowledge base inside your Intercom chat widget and still configure it to show the relevant video content to the website visitors or users, just like in the widget. We will soon be integrating with other services, too.
What does the video duration time limit mean?
There are restrictions on the number of HowTo projects that can be created in each plan. And each HowTo project video has a time duration restriction - i.e., the max length of the video that can be created. The video length is calculated based on the steps added and the script length.
Is the Free plan always free? What are the restrictions?
Yes, the free plan is forever free. You can create 15 videos of max 2mins each, and it comes with a WowTo watermark. You can also host a video knowledge with these 15 videos on your website. There will be a ‘Powered by WowTo’ badge on the knowledge base site.
How can I upgrade from the free to the Plus or Business plan?
To upgrade, log in to your WowTo account and click the 'Upgrade' button in the app's top toolbar.
Do you offer refunds?
Since there is a free version available, we encourage you to try out the same and then upgrade. For paid users, if you wish to cancel your subscription, you must do so before the next renewal date. Refund requests will not be entertained.
Can I cancel my subscription at any time?
Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time before the next billing date to avoid the next charge. No refunds will be entertained on active subscriptions.
Do you offer support?
Yes, you can contact us for all your technical and billing-related queries at support@wowto.ai. The standard response time for all queries is 24 hours. You can also refer to our video knowledge base for any product-related questions.
Can I download my videos?
Yes, absolutely. You can download your videos anytime and use them wherever you want. There are no permissions required. If you are using the free plan, the videos will have a WowTo watermark at the bottom right.
