Steno is an AI-powered speech-to-text tool that allows users to write four times faster than typing. It utilizes ChatGPT to improve accuracy and requires no activation; it starts transcribing as soon as it detects speech. Steno works alongside other apps and is currently available for Macbooks with Apple Silicon M-chips, with Windows support coming soon. It offers a free plan with limited features and paid premium plans with watermark removal.

Does keeping Steno on while I'm not using it drain my battery?
Steno is designed to be as battery-friendly as possible. However, continuous use and having multiple apps running simultaneously will impact battery life.
Does Steno work for other languages?
Currently, Steno supports English only. Support for additional languages is planned for the future.
Is there a student discount?
We currently do not offer student discounts. However, if you are unable to afford Steno please contact us, we will accommodate you.
When will Steno for Windows be released?

How can I cancel my subscription/free trial?

Steno does not currently support sound coming from your computer. We will add support for this in the future.
