About
hessian.AI is a Hessian Center for Artificial Intelligence aiming to conduct excellent basic research with concrete practical relevance, promoting transfer to industry and society. It involves 13 Hessian universities, bundles expertise of AI scientists, and expands through new professorships. The center focuses on the "Third Wave of AI", developing AI systems with human-like thinking and communication capabilities. It offers infrastructure, including an AI Innovationlab and AI Service Center, providing HPC clusters and consulting services. The center also actively promotes AI entrepreneurship through AI Startup Rising, offering funding, an AI Academy, master classes, competitions, incubation and acceleration programs. hessian.AI actively seeks to democratize AI and make it accessible to research, industry and society.
