Experience Requirements:

• 5+ years administering Linux systems in a mixed on-prem environment

• Strong in Ethernet/IP, VLANs, firewalls/VPNs, DNS/DHCP/NTP

• Confident with Ansible, PXE, Bash, and Git

• Hands-on with NFS/NAS, snapshots/replication, and backup/restore drills

• Experience with virtualization (Proxmox/KVM/ESXi)

Other Requirements:

• Ability to lift/move ~50 lb servers

• Follow ESD and safety best practices

• Experience with monitoring/alerting with Prometheus/Grafana

Responsibilities:

• Rack/unrack servers and network gear and manage server room operations

• Operate and harden NAS and manage storage access controls

• Configure and maintain switches, routers, firewalls, and VPNs

• Automate OS/app configuration with Ansible and maintain PXE workflows

• Administer virtualization platforms like Proxmox and manage VMs

Education Requirements:

• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering

Experience Requirements:

• 7+ years in a quality-focused engineering role

• Strong background in ASIC/FPGA or high-performance computing infrastructure

• Expert-level proficiency in Python for validation and release tooling

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD platforms (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins)

• Strong understanding of Linux internals, shell scripting, and Git

Other Requirements:

• Experience with Secure Boot and cryptographic signing processes

• Familiarity with OS image build systems (Yocto, Buildroot)

• Understanding of containerization (Docker/Podman)

Responsibilities:

• Design and execute validation plans for ASIC/FPGA and AI inference software

• Own the 'Gold Suite' of release tests for functional correctness and performance

• Automate and own full stack automated CI infrastructure

• Drive transformation of engineering prototypes into repeatable production systems

• Enforce branching strategies and quality gates for code promotion
