About
Znote is a private AI workspace that allows you to take notes, summarize meetings, generate reports, and run code snippets locally, without cloud access. It features AI-powered smart notes, meeting transcription and summarization, interactive reports with live charts, and a code sandbox for running Node.js and Bash scripts. It is compatible with various LLMs like Claude, Ollama, and OpenAI. It also provides a complete note-taking experience with local files, folders/tags, tabs, multiple editors, and password protection.

FAQs
Can I sync my files to a Dropbox?
Yes. Znote (Lab) is designed to allow the use of any synchronization system. Each time you open the note list, the file is reread.
Why two versions: Znote and "Znote Lab"?
The lab offers advanced features for developers that are not compatible with general app store policies. In addition, the lab offers an overview of the latest features.
What languages are supported?
Currently only the Javascript is supported by code execution system. For code syntax highlighting, almost all languages are supported. The underlying library is [highlight.js](https://highlightjs.org/). You can check the publisher's website for the full list.
What libraries are included in the Lab?
Currently [Danfo.js](https://danfo.jsdata.org/) and [Plotly.js](https://plotly.com/javascript/) are included in addition to the [Node FS API](https://nodejs.org/api/fs.html) mainly for data exploration.
Can I create diagrams?
Znote allows you to create many types of diagrams thanks to the awesome [Mermaid](https://mermaid-js.github.io/mermaid/#/) plugin.
Once my files have been imported, are they still usable outside the application?
Yes. Your files are still usable by another text editor if you don't use the lock feature. Note that we add meta on top of files. The underlying algo uses for encryption is AES.
