Yes. You can live stream on YouTube using [OBS Studio](https://obsproject.com/). See [Set Up OBS Studio](manual.php#setup_obs) for details.
Yes. You can do it using [OBS Studio](https://obsproject.com/). See [Set Up OBS Studio](manual.php#setup_obs) for details.
Yes. Because Webcam Motion Capture can control your 3D avatar not only from your webcam but also from your video! First shoot a video using your smartphone. Then, use the video on Webcam Motion Capture as an input. In this way, you can control your 3D avatar according to your move even on relatively slow computers. Learn from [here](manual.php#video_input) for more detail.
Use [VRoid Studio](https://vroid.com/en/studio). It is free easy-to-use software to create 3D avatars, which does not require any special skills! Export your avatar as [vrm file](https://vroid.pixiv.help/hc/en-us/articles/360014383713-How-to-create-a-VRM-file). Then import it to Webcam Motion Receiver.
Yes. You can make the Webcam Motion Receiver's background transparent and set your preferred video as the background in OBS Studio. See [Set Up OBS Studio](manual.php#setup_obs) for details.
Yes. We have confirmed that [EpocCam](https://www.elgato.com/en/epoccam) on iPhone/iPad and [DroidCam](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dev47apps.droidcam) on Android are compatible with Webcam Motion Capture. Both the apps are free.
The tracking usually gets more stable in a bright and non-cluttered room. The app assumes that you are facing straight to the camera, so the height of your camera should be roughly at the same level as your head. Your face and chest should be fully visible, so don't be too close to the camera. Also, the tracking gets stable if your elbow is visible when you raise your hand. The quality of hand tracking often improves if your elbows, forearms, and hands are uncovered. So, if your forearms are covered by long sleeves, it is recommended that you roll up your sleeves above your elbows.
Check "Hide Webcam" at the bottom of the Webcam Motion Capture window.
Yes. Webcam Motion Capture is supporting the following apps. * [waidayo](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/waidayo/id1513166077) (iOS, Free) * [Facemotion3d](https://www.facemotion3d.info/) (iOS, Paid) * [iFacialMocap](https://www.ifacialmocap.com/) (iOS, Paid) * [MeowFace](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.suvidriel.meowface) (Android, Free) * [VTube Studio](https://denchisoft.com) (iOS, Free, via [FaceMocap2VMC](https://github.com/Suvidriel/FaceMocap2VMC) (Windows Only)) For how to set up a mobile app, please refer to [this page](manual.php#setup_waidayo).
The problem is you cannot access the same webcam from both the apps at the same time. Here are the possible solutions. * You can use your **smartphone as your second webcam**. There are some free apps which turn your smartphone into a webcam as described [here](#faq-smartphone). * Set up a **virtual camera**. You can set up a virtual camera using [SplitCam](https://splitcam.com/). Once the virtual camera is ready, you can access the camera from Webcam Motion Capture and VSeeFace at the same time. ("*Since the latest version of SplitCam is not supported by the app, please download version 10.7.44_x64.msi from [here](https://splitcam.com/download-archive-for-windows).*")
In the Webcam Motion Capture window, set the **Resolution** to **640x360** or a smaller size. If you set a large resolution like 1920x1080, the tracking can be laggy. We recommend 640x360, or 1280x720 if it is for full-body tracking. Please also refer to ["Q: How can I lower the CPU/GPU usage?"](#faq-CPUGPU).
To lower CPU usage: 1. Open **Preferences** from the Webcam Motion Capture window menu and set **Capture Speed** to **High Speed** or **Low Speed**. 2. Set the **Resolution** to **640x360** or smaller. Our recommended resolution is 640x360, or 1280x720 if it is for full-body tracking. To lower GPU usage, open the **App Settings** at the bottom of the Webcam Motion Receiver window and set the **Graphics Quality & GPU Usage** to **Low**.
Please check if your VRM model is compatible with the VRM specs. Especially, please check if your VRM model has all the required bones listed [here](https://vrm.dev/en/univrm/humanoid/humanoid_overview/#%E8%A9%B3%E7%B4%B0). In addition to the required bones, your VRM model needs to have all the 3 bones (Distal / Proximal / Intermediate) for each finger to be used in Webcam Motion Capture.
For **Windows** users, please check the followings: 1. You may encounter the message "Windows protected your PC." In this case, click 'More Info' and then select 'Run anyway'. 2. You may have to add WebcamMotionCapture_Win folder as an exclusion in your anti-malware software. * For Windows Security, please refer to [this page](https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/add-an-exclusion-to-windows-security-811816c0-4dfd-af4a-47e4-c301afe13b26). * For other security software such as Norton, AVG, etc., please refer to the respective app's manual. 3. You may want to check if the app has a permission to access your camera. Please refer to [this page](https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/turn-on-app-permissions-for-your-camera-in-windows-10-87ebc757-1f87-7bbf-84b5-0686afb6ca6b). 4. You may have to install Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable package from [here](https://docs.microsoft.com/en-US/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170#visual-studio-2015-2017-2019-and-2022). * Usually, you should install the X64 version, but please check your computer's CPU and select the appropriate one. If you still cannot open the app, please contact us by [email](#contact) or sending a message on [Twitter](https://twitter.com/webcammocap).
If the name of your camera is not displayed in the list next to "Camera" at the bottom of the Webcam Motion Capture window, please go to "Preferences" from the Webcam Motion Capture window menu and uncheck "Use DirectShow." Then, check again to see if the name of your camera appears in the list. If your camera is still not shown, please contact us by [email](#contact) or sending a message on [Twitter](https://twitter.com/webcammocap).
