FAQs
Can I use your mocap tools without using Studio?
Rokoko Vision, our AI video-to-animation solution, can be used directly in your browser to generate an .FBX character animation file. However, to enjoy the entirety of our animation and mocap tools suite and its features, Studio will be the software to use if you want to connect Rokoko hardware mocap tools, edit mocap animation clips, export them to your preferred format and settings, real-time stream mocap data to a 3rd party software with an integration plugin (like Unreal or Blender) or use the retargeting and character import features.
Does a Rokoko subscription plan cover anything other than a Studio license?
Yes: though Studio is our core software product, subscribing to a Rokoko plan also gives you access to features in our other software products like Rokoko Vision's dual-camera tracking, as well as different levels of customer support from our animation and mocap experts.
I work as an Educator in Academia or Research, what are the subscription plan options?

What computer specs do I need to use Studio?
We built Rokoko Studio to be able to run on laptops, as we pride ourselves in being a mobile and versatile mocap solution you can take out in the field. This means that most modern computers are sufficient, you can see the recommended specs here.
