What is the difference between your plans?
The Standard plan is pay-as-you-go, perfect for small projects. Premium and Enterprise plans are multi-user subscriptions ideal for high-volume transcription or team collaboration.
What do you mean by hourly rate?
Transcription hourly rate refers to the length of the audio or video file uploaded, not the time to transcribe or website usage. It's prorated to the nearest second.
Are there additional charges for translation?
Yes, automated translation is an additional charge at the same rate as transcription. The same applies to timecode realignment and burn-in subtitling.
How are my free minutes applied?
Your 30 free minutes are applied to your first upload, even if you have purchased more minutes.
Can I cancel my subscription anytime?
Yes, you can cancel your Premium or Enterprise subscription anytime to stop further billing. Until your subscription anniversary, you may still upload and transcribe files.
Do you offer any discounts?
Yes, discounts are available for students, teachers/professors, faculty, non-profits, and those writing articles about Sonix. High-volume transcription users should contact the enterprise team.
