How do credits work and how often do they replenish?
Credits are your 'currency' for generating stories, images, and characters. Each credit generates about 1,200 words (5 pages). All users receive daily credits; paid plans include additional monthly credits.
How often do credits replenish?
Free accounts get 5 daily credits. Monthly plans (Starter: 50, Basic: 300, Pro: 800) reset with billing cycle. Daily credits (Starter: 10, Basic: 20, Pro: 40) refresh every 24 hours.
What happens if I run out of credits on my paid plan?
If you exhaust your monthly and daily credits, you can purchase additional credits. Your subscription plan determines your refill discount.
What happens to my existing subscription?
Older subscriptions will have monthly payments lowered for Starter and Basic plans. You'll get new, larger credit allotments next billing cycle and new daily credits immediately.
What do I get with a free account?
Every new user gets 5 free credits upon signup and 5 daily credits that refresh every 24 hours, allowing continuous use of basic features.
How many stories can I create with my credits?
Monthly plans: Starter (up to 117), Basic (up to 300), Pro (up to 667) short stories/month. One-time packs: Small (17), Medium (100), Large (333) short stories.
Will I own the stories I create?
Paid subscribers retain full ownership. Free users grant DeepFiction rights to use, reproduce, modify, and distribute their stories, with a non-exclusive, royalty-free license for commercial use.
