ABCI (AI Bridging Cloud Infrastructure) is an open computing infrastructure for AI technology development and bridging, built by the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology and operated by AIST Solutions Co., Ltd. It is a domestic AI infrastructure leveraging computing power for AI technology research, development, demonstration, and social implementation.

Can the same corporation submit multiple usage applications?
Yes, you can. Please apply for the appropriate amount of points based on your budget and user management needs.
Does the person in charge of usage need to be the company representative?
The person in charge of usage does not need to be the company representative. However, this person must be able to fulfill responsibilities such as paying usage fees and instructing users to comply with regulations.
Can related companies or business partners be added to the users in the usage application?
It is possible to include employees, etc. belonging to corporations other than the applying corporation among the users. However, it is recommended that a usage manager be appointed for each corporation.
How detailed should the purpose of use be described?
The purpose of use should be described at a level where it can be confirmed that the purpose is research and development. "Machine learning" is considered research and development when used for "learning."
How many days will it take to start using ABCI after applying?
After accepting the usage application, we will send a "Response" within 10 business days. The ABCI account will be issued and available for use immediately. However, the review may take 10 business days or more.
Is there an upper limit to the number of ABCI points applied for at the time of application?
There is no upper limit to the number of ABCI points declared at the time of application. However, there may be an upper limit to the ABCI points that can be obtained during the initial use.
What happens if ABCI points remain at the end of the fiscal year?
ABCI points expire at the end of the fiscal year (end of March) and cannot be carried over to the next fiscal year. ABCI points can be added at any time, so please control it yourself.
The usage application form contains personal information. How is personal information handled?
Personal information included in the usage application will be appropriately managed based on the privacy policy.
When submitting a copy of My Number card as proof of "identity verification" according to Form 2, do I need to submit both sides?
When submitting a copy of your My Number card as a "personal identification" certificate, please "do not submit the side with your individual number."
Can foreign companies apply?
If the company falls under Article 5 of the Terms and Conditions (and Article 4 of the Rules), it can be used.

If the requirements of Article 5 of the Terms and Conditions (and Article 4 of the Rules) are met, foreigners can use the service.
Can it be used from overseas?
If the requirements of Article 5 of the Terms and Conditions (and Article 4 of the Rules) are met, it can be used from overseas.
Can the same person be registered in multiple use groups?
Yes, you can.
Can multiple usage applications be made with the same person in charge of usage?
Yes, you can. There is no problem if the usage theme and payment are different. Please note that the usage groups will also be independent.
Can I register as a user even if I am affiliated with an overseas organization?
If you have a secondary affiliation overseas, you will be considered a 'non-resident' and will require a separate screening.
