Is there a free plan?
Yes, just by signing up you get 50 message credits and 1 chatbot (500k characters). You can use these to test out chatbase and see if it works for you.
How do message credits work?
One AI response with gpt-3.5-turbo (the default) costs 1 message credit. We plan to integrate other AI models soon.
Can I customize the chatbot widget?
Yes, you can customize the look of the widget by using your logo and name. You can also choose the initial default messages and suggested topics.
How long does it take to train my chatbot?
The training duration depends on the amount and type of data. Generally it takes up to 5 minutes to parse and analyze your documents and links.
What is one document credit?
One character of a document that is being uploaded for bot training is equal to 1 document credit.
How many users can use my chatbot?
There is no set limit on number of users. Note that each message will cost message credits.
What counts as one chatbot?
One chatbot means a chatbot that contains specific data and can answer any question about this data.
When are my message credits renewed?
Message credits are renewed every month from the day of your subscription.
How much data can I give one chatbot?
There is no set limit other than the total Document credits available in your plan.
Can I upload multiple files to one chatbot?
All plans allow uploading multiple files to one chatbot.
How do I know how many characters are in my document?
It will be displayed in the Data sources page of each chatbot.
