Data Engineering Intern
Education Requirements:
BS degree or equivalent experience in a computational science or technical field
Experience Requirements:
Prior use of SQL in academic or professional environment
Design and/or maintenance of large datasets
Exposure to cloud engineering
Understanding of serverless architecture and design principles
Experience handling large datasets and time-series data
Other Requirements:
Skills in SQL and Python
Willingness to conduct business during non-traditional hours
Highly self-motivated and flexible
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain basic ETL processes using Python and SQL
Monitor batch processing pipelines and troubleshoot simple data issues
Write and optimize basic SQL queries for data retrieval
Maintain accurate documentation and utilize Git for version control
Participate in code reviews and learn cloud platform basics
