Aays Acquires Aidetic, Supercharging Enterprise AI Deployment from Pilot to Production
Aays acquires Aidetic, forging a path for enterprises to finally scale AI from pilot to production at the edge.

In a strategic move to bolster its enterprise artificial intelligence capabilities, AI and data solutions firm Aays has acquired Aidetic, a specialized AI engineering company. The acquisition, the value of which remains undisclosed, will see the Aidetic team form the nucleus of Aays' new AI Engineering Hub in Bengaluru. This development signals a concerted effort to address one of the most significant challenges in the enterprise AI sector: moving artificial intelligence solutions from pilot stages to scalable, production-grade deployments, particularly at the edge of computing networks. The integration of Aidetic’s technical prowess with Aays’ established governance and industry-specific playbooks is poised to accelerate the delivery of tangible AI-driven outcomes for businesses.
Founded in 2018, Aays has carved a niche for itself as a boutique AI and data consulting firm, delivering substantial business impact across sectors like Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), retail, automotive, and manufacturing.[1] The Gurugram-based company, co-founded by Anshuman Bhar and Dwarika Patro, specializes in end-to-end data solutions, from architecture to insight generation, and has been recognized for its work in data science and generative AI.[2][1] Aays focuses on translating data into actionable intelligence for functions including finance, supply chain, and operations, reportedly delivering over $2 billion in business impact for its clients.[3][4] The firm operates at the intersection of deep functional knowledge and advanced technology, aiming to help large enterprises institutionalize a robust data and analytics culture.[3][5] The acquisition is a deliberate move to enhance its ability to operationalize AI, recognizing that the primary constraint is not the AI models themselves, but their effective implementation and scaling across an enterprise.
On the other side of the acquisition, Aidetic, also founded in 2018, has built a strong reputation in AI product engineering with a focus on computer vision, natural language processing (NLP), and embedded AI.[6] Based in Bengaluru, the company was started by Abhishek Agarwalla and Mehul Jain with a vision to make AI more accessible to businesses by helping startups and enterprises build and scale their AI products.[7][6] Aidetic began with a focus on video analytics, developing solutions for a defense drone company and AI-powered security systems, and has since expanded its expertise into manufacturing, media, finance, and B2B SaaS, serving clients across the globe.[7] The company has a track record of delivering hundreds of AI projects and has developed a range of solutions including chatbots, business intelligence tools, and systems for robotic process automation.[6][8] This expertise in production-grade AI deployment is expected to complement Aays’ strategic, governance-first approach.
The strategic rationale behind this acquisition lies in the fusion of complementary strengths. Aays brings its domain-first governance, established industry playbooks, and extensive market reach. Aidetic contributes its production-grade engineering capabilities in computer vision, NLP, and embedded systems.[9] Together, the combined entity aims to deliver AI co-pilots and vision systems that can be deployed faster and scaled more predictably across enterprises. This is particularly crucial for industries like consumer goods, retail, and manufacturing, which are increasingly relying on edge computing to process data closer to its source in factories, stores, and supply chains.[9] The goal is to reduce the time-to-value for clients, enabling a smoother transition from limited pilot projects to multi-region production deployments with reliable outcomes. The new AI Engineering Hub in Bengaluru is central to this strategy, leveraging the city's rich ecosystem of tech talent and innovation.[9][3] Bengaluru is a recognized global technology powerhouse, often dubbed the "Silicon Valley of India," with a high concentration of AI startups, research institutions, and a vast pool of skilled engineers.[10][11][12]
This acquisition is indicative of a broader trend within the rapidly growing enterprise AI and edge computing markets. As more companies seek to deploy AI for real-time decision-making, the demand for solutions that function effectively at the edge—on factory floors, in retail stores, or within logistical networks—is surging.[13][14] The global edge computing market is projected to grow significantly, with a substantial portion of enterprise-generated data expected to be processed at the edge in the coming years.[13] The convergence of AI and edge computing is critical for applications requiring low latency and real-time responsiveness, such as autonomous vehicles, industrial automation, and advanced surveillance.[15] The move by Aays to acquire a specialist firm like Aidetic underscores the industry's shift from focusing purely on AI model development to the engineering challenges of deploying and managing these models in complex, real-world environments. By combining strategic oversight with deep technical execution, the newly enlarged Aays is positioning itself to capture a significant share of this evolving market, promising to make enterprise AI not just a theoretical possibility, but an operational reality.
