FAQs
When do I get access to my rental machine?
You receive access at the booking start date. This can be immediate (API) or at your pre-selected hour (web UI). You'll receive your ID file via email. API users also get access via responses (allow 1 minute for instance startup).
What Frameworks do you support?
PyTorch, TensorFlow, NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, Scikit-learn. Docker & Nvidia-Docker are also supported.
How Do I Connect To My Rental Instance?
Connect via SSH using your ID file, port number, and IP address (received via email and/or API response). Example: ssh -i [ID FILE GOES HERE] -p [PORT NUMBER] renter@[IPADDRESS GOES HERE]
I logged in, where are the frameworks?
Frameworks are installed in the ‘venv’. Activate it with: ‘source venv/bin/activate’
SSH error: Identity file is too open!?
Linux/macOS: chmod 400 [ID FILE NAME]. Windows 10: Use the GUI to ensure only your user has read access. Right-click, Properties, Security, Advanced, Disable Inheritance, Apply, Edit, Add your username, OK. Select only read under Allow.
How do I file transfer into the rented computer?
Use any file transfer service supporting SSH with ID file authentication. SCP is recommended. Example: scp -i [[IDFILE]] -P [[PORTNUMBER]] [[YOURFILEPATHHERE]] [[USERNAME@HOST]]:/home/renter/
Can you recover data from my previous rental?
Data is wiped after each rental. Save data locally or make prearrangements before rental ends. Contact us if time is running out.
