How does v0 work?
The chat interface allows interaction with the v0 assistant. It outputs Blocks previewable in chat, copyable, or installable via shadcn CLI. Blocks can write and render Svelte, Vue, React, and HTML with CSS.
How much does v0 cost?

What data was v0 trained on?
v0 was trained by Vercel using a combination of public and private datasets, including third-party sources listed in Vercel's AI Policy. Data primarily covers web development, especially React, Next.js, and modern tech.
Will my generations be used for training?
User-generated prompts and content may be used as inputs for models from third-party providers to improve v0. Enterprise customers' content is not used for training. Customer data from Vercel's platform services is not used.
Can I access my data?
The ability to download your usage data is not currently supported.
Is v0 trained on customer data from Vercel’s platform services, like the DX Platform?
No, data from your usage of Vercel's platform, CLI, or deployment services is not and will not be used to train v0. Refer to Vercel's AI Policy for details.
Is v0 useful without React?
Yes, v0 can render Svelte, Vue, HTML, and Markdown within Blocks. It generates code for frameworks like Bootstrap and Material UI, and has knowledge of services like Drizzle and Supabase.
Is v0 useful without Tailwind?
Yes. v0 can generate code for various CSS frameworks or vanilla CSS. It also works with other UI libraries like Material-UI, Chakra UI, or styled-components.
Can v0 generate data fetching code?
v0 can generate code that fetches data from remote endpoints or APIs. Currently, only the React v0 Block can execute this code directly in your browser.
Can I see a history of all my chats?
Yes, your complete chat history can be viewed and accessed by visiting v0.dev/chat/history.
Can we request deletion of data?
Yes, contact privacy@vercel.com to request deletion of v0 outputs. Note that models trained with your data won't be updated. Enterprise plans offer opt-out of content usage for training.
Can I use output from v0 for commercial uses?
Vercel does not own generated code. Output may be similar to others', incomplete, buggy, or inappropriate. Users are responsible for evaluating generated content's suitability for commercial or other purposes.
Do I need a new v0 account if I already have a Vercel account?
No, your existing Vercel account provides access to v0. Simply visit v0.dev and log in to start using the tool.
I am in a waiting room for v0. Why?
During high demand, v0 limits concurrent users on a first-come, first-served basis. v0 Enterprise plan users receive priority access and are not subject to these waiting limits.
