How are the goal and initiative limits in the free plan calculated?
You can create 5 goals and up to 50 initiatives across all teams in the free plan. These do not include archived goals or initiatives.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards. For annual subscriptions, we can issue an invoice payable by bank transfer. Monthly purchases must be paid for by credit card.
Does North offer a discount for nonprofits?
North is happy to support eligible nonprofits and academic institutions with an 80% discount on our all plans when billed annually.
Does North have an Early-stage startup program?
We’d love to help startups achieve their goals. For that, we offer an 80% discount for up to 1 year of our best plan, To qualify, startups should meet the following criteria: – Startups fewer than two years old – With less than $1m in ARR – Have 10 employees or fewer Apply at hello@thenorth.io

For all our business plan users with annual commitment, we offer a personalised demo and onboarding assistance for free – to get the most out of your OKR plan in North. Do you have a truly free forever plan?
Our intention behind our free plan is to introduce the concept of outcome-based thinking to as many people as we can before they commit to this way of working. As an early-stage start-up, we are sure to learn lessons along the way and may update our pricing from time to time.

What billing cycle is right for me?
Here’s a comparison of our billing cycles to help you choose the one that best suits your needs. Monthly Plan – Choose this if you want to give North a try and need more than what our free plan offers. – You’re billed monthly for each user account. – You can add or remove user accounts at any time. – You pay only for the accounts that you have during a month. – You cancel your subscription at any time without penalty. Annual/Fixed-Term Plan – You commit to purchasing the subscription for one or multiple years. – You get discounted pricing and are not charged the set-up and onboarding fee – Your price depends on the number of user licenses you purchase. You can purchase more licenses if your team grows and your price goes up. – You can reduce licenses only when renewing your plan at the end of the contract. – If you cancel your subscription before the renewal date, you’re charged for the remaining balance of your contract and no refunds are issued. – We recommend this plan for organizations who are committed to OKRs and want to give it the best shot.
