Who is welcome to attend Synapse?
Everybody is welcome to apply to attend the event. As there is a limited capacity, applications are evaluated according to each person's demonstrated passion for AI and related subjects. The entire AI field benefits when there's greater representation. As such, we particularly welcome women, people from minority backgrounds, and people with disabilities to apply for attendance.
What does the sponsorship package include, and should I apply for one?
Each sponsorship package includes complimentary travel to the event and accommodation at a Milan city-center hotel. Students and recent graduates are encouraged to apply for a sponsorship package. In total, fifty sponsorship packages are available for students and recent graduates.
If I can't attend in person, can I still see the talks and poster sessions online?

What are poster sessions and how do I take part in one?
A poster session is when someone presents their research work, in the form of a poster, to other event attendees. They're a particularly effective way of networking, discussing the work with an informed audience, and staying up-to-date with the latest research and methodologies.
