What is your relationship to OBS?
Streamlabs Desktop is built on top of the OBS engine. Streamlabs licenses the OBS engine under its open source general public license (GPLv2) and would not be possible without their years of hard work. Streamlabs itself is an open source project, our repo is here https://github.com/stream-labs/desktop. Both teams have had transparent conversations on trust and partnership and have established plans to work together for creators moving forward. Which streaming platforms do you support?
Streamlabs supports Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, Trovo, and custom RTMP destinations.
What percentage of my tips does Streamlabs take?
Streamlabs does not take a cut from your tips. The only fees that you will be charged for funds received through Streamlabs tip links are standard processing fees imposed by the payment processor.
Do you have an API for developers?
Yes, we certainly do! Our REST API is available to any third parties looking to create custom integrations using our tools. You can find our documentation here https://dev.streamlabs.com/

How much does Streamlabs cost?
Streamlabs comes with everything you need to record video and live stream successfully for free, including live streaming software with dozens of widgets, built-in overlay themes and alerts, a tip page (we don’t take a cut), and Cloudbot moderation tools. We also have over 300 free overlays, video editing tools, and merch store functionality. Streamlabs Ultra is an entirely optional upgrade intended to help add an extra level of production value like customization of tip pages, access to 60+ app add-ons, and live stream sponsorship opportunities within the Streamlabs App Store. Streamlabs Ultra is $27/month or discounted when billed annually at $189/year.
When I receive a tip, where does the money go?
When a tip is made to a creator, the money is processed directly through the payment processor to the broadcaster's account. If you receive tips using PayPal, you can view your tip transactions directly in your PayPal account. If you receive tips using our credit card option, you can see your balance and initiate a withdrawal from your account within the tip settings page.
Can I use Streamlabs on my console or mobile device?
Yes, you can stream from your Xbox to Twitch using Streamlabs Console https://streamlabs.com/console. To stream to other platforms or from other consoles you can use a capture device and Streamlabs Desktop. You can also stream games and your camera from your smartphone or tablet using our free mobile app https://streamlabs.com/mobile-app/

How do I access all of the Streamlabs creator tools?
With a Streamlabs ID, both free and Ultra creators can access any product from Streamlabs (including Streamlabs Desktop https://streamlabs.com/streamlabs-live-streaming-software, Talk Studio, Cross Clip, Video Editor, Streamlabs Console https://streamlabsstudio.com/, and the Web Suite) with a single login. If you’re in the Streamlabs Dashboard, there is a product menu in the top right corner which lets you easily navigate across Streamlabs various apps.
Do I need Ultra to access all the additional creator tools?
No, everyone can access the free versions of Streamlabs Desktop, Mobile and Web Suite, as well as Talk Studio, Video Editor, and Cross Clip. You can live stream to any of the major platforms, edit clips and videos, and get an all-in-one link using our tools for free. Streamlabs ID makes it easy to access them all from one simple login.
What does this mean for Streamlabs Prime?
Streamlabs Prime is now Ultra! If you were on a Prime subscription before, we’ve automatically converted you to Ultra with no change to your billing or cost; even your renewal date stays the same. Ultra is the same cost as Prime, with the benefit of additional pro-level creator tools. Set up your Streamlabs ID in Dashboard to access the pro-tier additional apps (Cross Clip, Video Editor, etc.).
Does this service work on multiple devices?
Streamlabs Starter and Ultra both offer tools for a variety of devices from desktop to mobile to browser. With Ultra you also get access to Streamlabs Console for Xbox streaming.
What if I only want to pay for one product?
We offer a-la-carte subscription options for Talk Studio, Cross Clip, Video Editor, and Streamlabs Console. If you’re using more than one tool, your best value is to subscribe to Streamlabs Ultra.
Does this mean you are going to stop building tools for live streaming?
Absolutely not. Live streaming is at the heart and soul of Streamlabs. We will continue to build the best tools in the industry for live streaming. We are constantly improving and adding new features to Streamlabs Desktop and Mobile. However, we believe that Ultra is a much-needed solution for the modern creator, and we’re excited to offer it to our community.
